I(Michelle) went to the doctors again to check my blood platelets and it turns out that they are not at the level that the doctor would like them to be at, so I get to go one day a week for four weeks for an IV infusion(injection) of a drug called Rituxan. It's basically a drug they give to cancer patients, but I don't have cancer and they told me that I won't loose any of my hair or things like that. I'm a little nervous, but I will be monitored the whole time I'm getting the infusion and Mark will be with me through it all.
The hope is it that I will get a month of treatment and be back to normal. Crazy what things can happen in your life. I have something I have never even heard about before, but I am hopeful everything will go as it should and it will all go away.
Sheesh!
