It has been a long time since we have posted so we thought that we should give you an update on life through pictures and what not.
This was a great tent for us and really a great buy for anyone looking for a family tent. It is a quick set up and easy take down.
We had a great view of the lake from our campsite.
At the beginning of Oct, we had a McMurdie FHE out at Lake Lavon where we had all the kids in town come out to have some fun camping. Everyone was able to come out for dinner the night before and we had 4 families stay the night with us over night. Michelle and I have not been camping since we got married so we decided to go buy a tent and a new air mattress and test our skills with the wild. Tava did a lot better than the rest of us. She slept through the night while Michelle and I wrestled with a whole in our new air mattress and getting comfortable. It was really windy that night as well which did not help the situation one bit. All in all we had a good time and plan on doing it again in the near future.
Tava is at the stage where she likes to put on everybody shoes and walk around with them on all the time.
As for Michelle and I, we are doing great. Michelle has started working as you saw in an earlier post at Primrose, a private day care, and is starting to enjoy it a lot. Right now, they are just getting their rooms together and organized with all of the new funiture, toys, books, supplies, etc. The school provides everything for Michelle so she does not have to buy hardly anything. Next week, she will have the corporate office people come in to instruct them in the ways of Primrose and what they expect of their employees. Then the kids start to come on the 3rd of November and that is when things will get interesting for Michelle. She will do great and I am proud of her for all she is doing.
As for me, Mark, I am still working at the hospital full time and also in nursing school full time and trying to manage them both as well try to be a dad, husband, and friend to people. This is a full load for me but so far things are going better than last year so we will see how I do with the semester coming to a close. We will keep you updated on our progress.
We are having a fun time and as you can see, so is Tava. She really brings a smile to our face everyday. She is still potty training and doing very well at it which makes it much easier for us. Tava is now 18 months old and still above the 85th% in height, and weight. She is starting to stretch out all 28 pounds of herself and is looking and doing great.
Sheesh!
