President Hinckley

Last Summer we had our family reunion and for part of that reunion we were asked to write down something about us that no one else knew and then we were going to guess what everyone else had said. For me (Mark) it was that out of the current 15 (Last Summer) prophets and apostles I had met and shoken hands with 10 of them. President Hinckley was one of them. When I was working for the Lighting Department at BYU-I we would do devotionals and dedications and I got to meet many of the leaders of the church. When I met President Hinckley, I was dirty jeans and my hands were dirty from being in the rafters and I was walking across the stage and he stopped me and said thank-you for all you do. That was a real neat experience for me to say that I have shooken hands with a prophet who has spoken with God. I am very appreciative of and know for a fact that the church is true and that the next prophet will be called of God and that he will be led by the hand of God in all things.
